GETTING STARTED

Panel A - 14 row repeat

Cast on 1 6sts

Row 1: knit

Row 2 and alt rows: K4, p8, k4.

Row 3 and 5: knit

Row 7: k4, CB8, k4

Row 9, 11, 13: knit

Panel В - 2 row repeat

Cast on 20sts

RS row: purl

Row 2: p 1, k1, till end of row.

Panel C - 3 row repeat

Cast on 21 sts

Row 1: knit

Row 2: k3, k2tog, k5, yo, k1, yo, k5, k2tog, k3

Row 3: purl

WORKING PATTERN

Panel A cast on 16sts and work 20 rows.

Panel В with RS facing cast on 20sts (make sure that both sides are facing the same way)

Work another 20 rows remembering to entwine the wool when changing colours.

Cast on the 21 sts of panel C.

Continue with 3 panels as follows.

70 repeats of panel C.

Next Row: with RS facing cast of the 21 sts of panel C.

Continue across the remaining sts. Continue for a further 20 rows of Panel A and B.

Next Row: with the WS facing cast off the 20sts of Panel В.

Continue across the remaining sts.

Work a further 20 rows.

Cast off.
