Crochet yoga socks free pattern

■ Rowan Wool Cotton (50% Merino Wool, 50% Cotton, 50g/113m), 1 ball of each:

Yarn A Windbreak [984), Yarn B Smalt {963), Yarn C Flower (943) 

■ A 3.25mm (US C/2 or D/3) hook

TENSION

22 sts and 30 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in)

MEASUREMENTS

14cm(5 1/2in) total length

23cm(9in) circumference of foot piece 

NOTES

The pattern is worked from the ankle cuff down in the amigurumi method without closing off each round with a ss. You may find it helpful to mark the first st of the round with a stitch marker and move it up as you work. 

SOCKS (MAKE 2)

With Yarn C, ch30 and ss to first ch to join into a ring.

Round 1 Ch1 (does not count as st), 1dc into each starting chain. [30 sts]

Round 2 Change to Yarn B, 1dc into each st.

Round 3 1dc into each st.

Round 4 Change to Yarn A, (9dc, 2dc into next st) repeat to end. [33 sts] 

Round 5 (1dc, ch1, skip 1 st) repeat to last st, 1dc. [33 sts]

Round 6 1dc into each st and ch. 

Round 7 Change to Yarn Br 1dc into each st. 

Round 8 (10dc, 2dc into next st) repeat to end, [36 sts]

Round 9 (11dc, 2dc into next st) repeat to end. [39 sts]

Round 10 1dc into each st.

Repeat Round 10 a further 7 times.

Round 18 1dc into each st, ss to first dc. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Count 12 sts from your starting/ending point or your stitch marker if you have been using one, and place a new marker.

With Yarn B, ch15.

Join this chain at the point of your new marker and work 1dc into the next 15 sts, then ch a further 15 and join to the very first ch to make a ring.

Round 1 1dc into each stfrom your starting round. [45 sts]

Round 2 1dc into each st.

Repeat Round 2 a further 10 times.

Round 13 (1dc, skip 1 st, 5htr into the next st, skip 1 st, 1dc) repeat to end, [9 htr shells]

Fasten off and weave in ends.
